Voted Kadima Chapter of the Year 2013-2014
What is Kadima?
Kadima is the middle school age affiliate of United Synagogue Youth and The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. In Hebrew, Kadima means forward. However to many Kadimaniks it means so much more. The youth in Kadima gain a foundation in the basics of Jewish life and are given the chance to make lots of Jewish friends. Kadima is a lot like USY, but for 6th-8th grade students. Most USY Chapters also have Kadima chapters, and these chapters have programs similar to those of USY chapters. Also, each year there is a regional convention just for Kadima. Kadima is a great chance for Jewish youth to learn about Judaism, but it is also a great place to have a good time and make new friends. |
